Equipped with three separate pools and water features, guests have the option of relaxing in style under a private cabana or stretch out and enjoy the warm sun on a luxurious lounger.
For a more relaxed atmosphere, the adult-only Resort Pool is tucked in a natural setting and located adjacent to The Spa at Boar's Head Resort.
Tennis & Pickleball
Boar’s Head Resort is consistently ranked by Tennis Resorts Online as a top-25 tennis resort in the world. Our camps and academies also make the sites top-15 list. Alongside our expert instruction is a host of top-notch facilities, including indoor hard courts, outdoor clay courts and six dedicated pickleball courts. McArthur Squash Center is a 33,000-square-foot facility available to Boar's Head members and hotel guests that boasts 12 singles courts, two doubles courts, and two exhibition courts, all within one single venue. The facility is shared by the University of Virginia NCAA teams and is a remarkable space serving players of all skill levels. The Boar's Head Squash Center is widely considered one of the best squash facilities in the world and plays host to several junior and professional events, including the World Masters Squash Championships in 2018.
The Swing Studio
The Boar’s Head Swing Studio* is a state-of-the-art indoor golf experience in Charlottesville that provides the latest technology for golfers of all skill levels to play, learn or socialize in a year-round indoor setting. With the assistance of our Trackman Golf Simulator, golfers can book lessons with one of our Birdwood PGA or LPGA professionals and really work to develop skills that will translate directly to outdoor play.
